Too much to do, too little time!

Someone(Pam) asked "Wherefore art thou?"

I haven't had time to blog. I have been:
trying to keep my schedule open so Grace & I could spend time together.
working 50 hrs per week
taking English and Ethics at school
Getting estimates to put laminate floors in my house.

Grace has a real burden in her heart for England. Crown college is asking for volunteers to go over there for the semester. Pray for her as she is trying to be able to raise the money to go. She feels God is leading her there and God will provide. She said that she could use the student loan money but she knows God wants her to rely more on him and will only use that as a last resort.

She said that she feels out of place not being at Crown in England. She knows God wants her at Crown but in England. She said that she would continue in Powell until God is ready for her to go. She also knows that her mission is working with children, her time in England with the teen rally I think really made that more solid.

What a blessing she has been to me in the past few days. I don't hear from her often but when I do.. its good stuff!!

Work is too much!!!

English is hard! trying to read stories and write papers on those stories.
Ethics is pretty good. Grace's friend Melissa Capitano is in my class! I thought that was really strange. I still have to write papers- but with a pen and paper not a computer and printer. That is weird!! I have a bad case of writer's cramp, not carpal tunnel.

The floor thing has me baffled. The beautiful tile that was put in my kitchen 1 year ago is cracking on the grout lines because it wasn't installed properly. Well, it has to come out and laminate floor will be put in its place. I am just praying on which company or person to use.

Weight loss isn't going well. I take one step forward and 3 steps back. I had finally hit the 20# mark but gained part of it back. Still working on it. It isn't going away overnight. Aw shucks!

But I did get this from a friend (Mary Hagberg)via email (I sent it to everyone I think) and I thought it was good, especially the comments at the end of the story:

A Great Story
A young lady was waiting for her flight in the boarding room of a big airport.
As she would need to wait many hours, she decided to buy a book to spend her time. She also bought a packet of cookies.
She sat down in an armchair, in the VIP room of the airport, to rest and read in peace.
Beside the armchair where the packet of cookies lay, a man sat down in the next seat, opened his magazine and started reading.
When she took out the first cookie, the man took one also. She felt irritated but said nothing. She just thought: “What a nerve! If I was in the mood I would punch him for daring!:
For each cookie, she took, the man took one too.
This was infuriating her but she didn’t want to cause a scene.
When only one cookie remained she thought: “ah…What will this abusive man do now?” Then, the man, taking the last cookie, divided it into half, giving her one half.
Ah! That was too much!
She was much too angry now!
In a huff, she took her book, her things and stormed to the boarding plane.
When she sat down in her seat, inside the plane, she looked into her purse to take out her eyeglasses, and, to her surprise, her packet of cookies was there, untouched, unopened!
She felt so ashamed!! She realized that she was wrong…
She had forgotten that her cookies were kept in her purse.
The man had divided his cookies with her, without feeling angered or bitter.
… while she had been very anger, thinking that she was dividing her cookies with him. And now thee was no chance to explain herself nor or apologize.

There are 4 things that you cannot recover.
The stone…
… after the throw!
The word…
…after it’s said!
The occasion…
…after the loss!
The time…
…after it’s gone!
